# I have a domain, why do I need to get web hosting as well?

They are two different things. Once you have [registered a domain](https://www.host-age.com/domain-registration/), that alone is not enough to have a website online. The domain name must be hosted on a server to be accessible via the Internet.

You therefore need to order a [web hosting package](https://www.host-age.com/web-hosting/) to have your website online.
