Email setup
on Apple Mail

After creating an email address using the Email Accounts button in cPanel, follow the instructions below to set up the email account in Apple Mail.

1 Go to the Mail menu, then Add Account…, and select Other Mail Account… from the window that opens. In the new window, fill in your Name, email address, and email account password.

2 For Account Type, select POP or IMAP (we recommend using IMAP). In the Incoming Mail Server field, enter your domain name; in User Name, enter your full email address. Click Continue.

3 In the Authentication field, select Password. Click Continue.

4 In the Description field, enter a generic name for the email account (you can use the email address). In the Outgoing Mail Server field, enter your domain name. Check Use Authentication, then enter your full email address in User Name. In Password, enter your email account password. Click Continue.

5 Go to the Mail/Preferences menu, click on Accounts, then select the configured email account. In the bottom right, under Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP), click and select Edit SMTP Server List…. Click on the email account at the top, then click the Advanced button. Check Use custom port and enter 26. In User Name, enter your full email address and in Password, enter your email account password. Click OK.
