The program that installs the scripts is called Softaculous, and we will briefly introduce it below.
What is Softaculous?
Softaculous is an application available in cPanel that currently offers many scripts that can be installed with a single click. The most popular applications offered are WordPress, PrestaShop, Joomla, phpBB, Drupal. This application allows you to quickly install and manage scripts on your hosting account. Softaculous offers options to view live demos of scripts, automatic script updates, configuring up to 2 backups, and much more.
How to use Softaculous

How to install an application from cPanel – Softaculous:
- Log in to cPanel at www.your-domain.com/cpanel
- Scroll down to the Software section and click on Softaculous Apps Installer
3. On the next page, all available applications in Softaculous are presented. From here, you can install them, view live demos of the applications, or get detailed information about each one.
4. At the top of the page, you can access various settings such as where you want backups of installed applications to be made, import applications already installed on another server, get help for Softaculous, and more.
