Two-factor authentication (2FA) is much more secure than password-only authentication. Users will need to install an app on their smartphone and use it every time they log in to Webmail.
To secure your client account at my.host-age.ro, you can enable two-factor authentication (2FA) from the client interface using the free Google Authenticator app available for iOS and Android.
First, log in to the client interface at my.host-age.ro and click the Two-Factor Authentication button.
Click the Activate button.
A QR code will appear on the new page, which you must scan with the Google Authenticator app installed on your smartphone.
After scanning the QR code, a new entry and a general code valid for 60 seconds will appear in the app on your smartphone.
Click the Continue button.
On the new page, enter the code generated on your smartphone, then press the Submit button.
If everything went correctly, a message like the one in the image below should appear.
From this moment on, every time you want to access the client area, after entering your email address and password, you will also need to enter the 2FA code generated by the app on your smartphone.
